In various forms, I have always found comfort in various forms of games. I have learned lessons and even have a lot of nostalgia attached to gaming. If it is video games, collectable card games, or board games. I have a lot of fond memories, and wonderful emotions attached to gaming. This is rich experience that I would like to explore with people and explain more in depth.
Below are a few things that I think are enriched from a healthy gaming experience.
For me, gaming helps me unwind, relax, and take my mind off of things that might be bothering me, but sometimes can help me relate to problems. There are some artistic and seriously crafted games out there that address problems that are sympathetic to issues people might encounter, and help cope with them.
Multiplayer games, or competitive games can build teambuilding. You can strengthen bonds, learn how to praise people while being humble if defeated. Winning can be an awesome feeling, but you can take just as much from a loss if you learn from it or are proud of those that succeed.
Games have decades of rich history and culture. All the history is an interesting story of how the industry has slowly crawled through time and grown to where it is today.
Collecting is a very has been an aspect that has taken form since the inception of the industry. Just like any other commodity or rare goods, each video game has sentimental or intrinsic value as soon as it is purchased, and copies become scarcer on the wider market, and factoring in current popularity of the culture.
The art form of each game slowly progresses through the ages like any artistic period. It paints a picture, and tells a story of technological capability, or what creators desired to portray. From simple gameplay and challenging platforming to epic role-playing games or story-based games. Each one has a unique look, feel, and sound to it.
